HSBC will under take the card transaction on our behalf. Your personal card details are securely held by HSBC and at no stage will your card details ever be divulged to us.
Don't be put off that the style of the Website changes completely - this is deliberate, as the site that you are accessing is run by HSBC bank, a principal member of the HSBC Group, one of the world's largest banking and financial services organisations.
Other than when HSBC process your original payment or we process a refund for you, your credit card details are displayed in a truncated form with only the first 4 digits and the last 4 digits visible. For example your receipt and or invoice may print a partial credit card number in this way. This means that you will be able to check which card you used against the numbers, but in the unlikely event of your receipt and or invoice and on other media being stolen, your full credit card number would not be revealed.
When you speak to us about your order, you will never be asked to quote your full credit card number by our customer care staff unless it is to cancel and or refund an order or when you are not buying online i.e. mail order, telephone and or face to face orders.
Your Personal Information (non payment card)
We will only accept orders using Secure Socket Layer Encryption (SSL) technology - this means you cannot inadvertently reveal personal information by using an unsecured connection. The latest versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator both support this secure connection. If this option has been disabled on your browser, you will not be able to purchase or login the website until you reset these options, some help as follows:-
